Corporate Culture
Corporate Culture

A culture of constant improvement

The founder of ECCO, Karl Toosbuy constantly challenged himself and others, be it staff, suppliers or retailers, and set himself the task of doing things better, faster, differently. He adopted different approaches and ideas and constantly pressed for improvements. This gradually evolved into the ECCO culture, an uncompromising determination and commitment to achieve goals and objectives.

Our culture is consistent with our values.

Ownership

Ownership

We began in 1963 with Karl Toosbuy’s dream to create a shoe company driven by the Scandinavian design philosophy of form follows function. A company that would own its own production and control its own destiny. To this day, ECCO is still owned by the Toosbuy family.
