ECCO selected as best company in the category ‘Quality’ in Sweden

More than 10.000 Swedes have participated in a national market survey and have chosen ECCO in front of Volvo, Miele, Porsche, and BMW and as the number one company in the category ‘Quality’.

“To become number one in this category in front of such large and high profile companies is really something to be proud of,” says Daniel Wägerth from the organization ‘Sweden’s Best Organisations’ (Sveriges Bästa Företag), who is behind the survey.

Martin Ölund, Country Manager at ECCO Sweden AB, is very pleased that the Swedish consumers have focus on the quality when it comes to ECCO’s products.
“The fact that ECCO owns the whole production chain from development of its products and until they end up with the consumers is clearly of importance for the consumers, and also something unique in the shoe industry,” says Martin Ölund.

ECCO has own shoe factories in Portugal, Slovakia, China, Indonesia and Thailand and own tanneries in Netherland, China, Indonesia and Thailand. Since 1963, the year ECCO was founded, it has sold shoes in Sweden and since then maintained a strong position in the Swedish market.

ECCO did also win the category ‘Best shoe chain’ and the company did also score high in the categories style, reliability and exclusivity.
