“I don’t think there is one. The most important thing is to find your own way and style.”

What is the best advice on golf you have ever received?

“Stay true to yourself. Understand and trust yourself. There are a lot of people with a lot of opinions, but always rely on yourself.”

What are the most important tools to become a skilled and successful golfer?

“Besides from hard work, talent and a lot of training hours – determination.”

How do you spend the last minutes before you enter the golf course?

“I go through the course in my mind as well as the plan for my game.”

How important are the shoes in golf?

“They are very important. The golf swing starts from the ground so you need to have grip as well as a stabile shoe. Furthermore, you walk a lot so they have to be comfortable.”

Thomas Bjørn (born 18 February 1971) is to date the most successful Danish golfer and became the first golfer from Denmark to win a tournament on the European Tour. In 1999, he became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team. Thomas Bjørn started his career playing on the Challenge Tour from 1993 to 1995.
