When Made in Denmark goes live at Himmerland Golf and Spa Resort it will be with 156 players from around the world. Among them, ECCO staff players Thomas Bjørn, Andreas Hartø and JB Hansen.
“Made in Denmark is the biggest sport event in Denmark this year and we are happy to have three of our staff players joining the tournament,” says Jesper Thuen, Sponsorship, PR & Event Manager, ECCO Golf.
On-site, ECCO will also have the ECCO Sports Truck filled with the latest ECCO golf shoes available.
“Of course we hope to sell a lot of shoes but being part of the Made in Denmark event is all about supporting Danish golf and giving back to the sport we are so passionate about,” Jesper Thuen explains.
Made in Denmark has Crown Prince Frederik as patron. The Danish Crown Prince will be playing the Backtee Course as he Wednesday participates in the Pro-Am, where sponsors and other invited guests play with the professional golfers.
“We are really excited about this event and hope it will be an event that gathers people around our sport, golf,” says Jesper Thuen.
